16.   EWAN'S ADVENT MESSAGE:               Saw Santa again yesterday at Clumber Park. There were loads of LED lights there. Easily 1 million. Santa gave me another small present. A book. Not quite The Lion Inside  by Rachel  Bright, but acceptable. My concerns are he may use up the budget on these just, ok presents andthen have nothing left for a good solid, what I really want present on Christmas Day.  He told us a brilliant story about a robin who checks out what you want for Christmas and tells Santa. No wonder grandad likes and respects robins.  Do you know eight teddy bears had got into Santa’s story room and got chairs before us..

17.  GEORGE'S ADVENT MESSAGE:           Stepped up my ability to crawl again yesterday because I have heard that the Christmas tree goes up today.  I need to get at that and mum and dad will stop me I just feel it in my bones. I have heard it is full of goodies to grab, play with and eat. How will I know the difference? I won’t so I will eat the lot to be on the safe side. I crawled and almost grabbed mum’s coke can. Sorry, “Diet Coke Can”. Is there a difference?

When I was a lad at school around 13 years old, our Maths teacher used to call me Wol. At the end of the year as we were moving up a class I plucked up courage to ask why he called me Wol. He told meit was thename of the deslexic owl in Winnie the Pooh. With my Harry Potter glasses he said I looked like the Wise Old Owl in the Winnie the Pooh stories.

Being the vain person I am I took it as a compliment
